Which cars show on your booking page

Your booking page lists only the cars it can price and hand over. A car that does not qualify is left out silently - the page shows fewer cars and never says why. The rules are simple, and every one of them is on the car itself.

What a car needs to list

Two things: the status Available, and a rate above zero for what you offer online. A fixed-dates hire is priced from the car's daily rate; an ongoing rental is priced from its weekly rate. The car needs the rate that matches the shape the visitor picks, so a car with only a daily rate disappears the moment they switch to ongoing. A rate of zero counts as no rate at all.

A car marked Damaged, Sold or In service never lists, and neither does an archived one. A car already out on hire still lists - the dates it is taken are refused when a visitor picks them.

A car is missing

  1. Open Vehicles and check the car's status. Only Available lists.
  2. Open the car and check its rates: a daily rate for fixed-dates hire, a weekly rate for ongoing rentals. Fill in the one you offer online.
  3. Check what you offer under Widget settings - a car priced only for a shape you do not offer has nothing to list for.
  4. Open your booking page yourself - Preview sits beside your booking link - and count the cars.

Keep one car off the page

There is no per-car hide switch. The lever is the rate: leave the car without the rate you offer online and it never lists. That costs you nothing - default rates only pre-fill, and every contract is still priced its own way, so you can go on renting the car out yourself at any figure. Changing the status works too, where it is true: a car marked Damaged or Sold comes off the page the moment you mark it.

The whole page says Not taking online bookings

That is the page switched off, not a car problem. When the Availability module is off, your booking page and the embedded widget stop taking requests, and visitors are told to call you instead - your name and phone number stay on the page. Switch Availability calendar back on and the page comes back with your fleet.

Where to find it: Settings → System → Modules

Tip: The page never explains a missing car. After changing a rate or a status, open your own booking link and count - that check is the only diagnostic there is.
