Put the booking form on your website
The booking widget puts your live booking form inside your own website. You paste one line of code once: visitors pick a car and dates without ever leaving your site, and the booking lands in Fleetola exactly as if it was made on your hosted page - as a request, with the car held for you to confirm.
Get the snippet
- In Settings, open Renter-facing. The Embed the booking widget panel holds one line of code, already filled in for your account.
- Click Copy.
- Paste it into your website, wherever the form should appear - a Custom HTML block on WordPress, a code or embed block on Squarespace or Wix. Any page that accepts a script snippet works.
- Load the page. The form appears where you pasted it, under your business name and in your accent colour, showing your live fleet.

What it carries
The widget is your live booking form: your cars, your prices, and the rules from Widget settings - how long a hire can be, the details renters must give, the terms they accept, your priced extras. It sizes itself to fit as the visitor moves through the steps, takes the full width of the space you paste it into, and is always current: change a rate or a car in Fleetola and the widget shows it on the next page load. There is nothing to re-paste.
It is not your hosted page
The embedded form takes set-date hire requests only - a pick-up date, a return date, a car priced by the day. It is an earlier, simpler version of the booking page, and it carries your name and colour but not your logo. An ongoing rental cannot be requested through it: if you offer ongoing rentals online, put your hosted booking link on your site as well.
No card is taken in the widget. The total a visitor sees is an estimate, the booking arrives as a request, and payment is arranged with you after you confirm - see Handle a booking request.
Nothing shows on your site
The snippet only runs where scripts are allowed. A plain text box strips it, and some website builders only run custom code on their paid plans - if your page shows a gap, or the code itself as text, move the snippet into a proper HTML or embed block.
If the form loads but lists no cars, no car currently qualifies: only a vehicle marked Available with a rate is offered, and the widget never says which car is missing or why - see Which cars show on your booking page.
Tip: With the Availability module off, the widget stops taking requests and shows a bare notice that the page is not available - unlike your hosted page, it does not hand visitors your name and phone number. Closing online bookings for a while? Take the snippet off your site too.
No website?
Share the hosted booking link itself - it sits just under the embed panel, with Copy and Preview beside it. Put it on your socials and your email signature, or print it as a QR code on the car. Setting up the page it opens is its own guide - see Take hire bookings online.
